What is the length of probationary period?


Every employee will undergo a probation period of six months. During the probation period the employee will undergo a series of coaching and development programme which includes Orientation, On the Job Training (OJT), Supervisory and Leadership Training. This is to allow the new employee to get off to a good start on their career with us.



Is relocation required? Where will I work?

Employee relocation is not a common practice but may be required when the need arises. However, the Company encourages employees to request for relocation to offices or factories within the Group such as Banting, Ipoh, Thailand and China.



What are the career advancement opportunities?

The Company provides equal and plenty opportunities for employees to learn, add value and advance in Top Glove. We encourage internal career advancement whereby we provide the necessary training and guidance for employees’ advancement and to add value, develop and grow with the Company.



How often is performance appraisals conducted?

Performance appraisals are conducted quarterly to assess employee’s performance. This is one of the methods we implemented to determine each employee’s annual increment, performance incentive and promotion.



What does our remuneration package comprise of?

All employees are entitled to medical, dental and health insurance benefits, although the quantum varies according to their grade. On top of that, we give out rewards to employees who are dedicated, hardworking and add value to improve factory and Company performance.



Is accommodation provided for outstation employees?

Yes, we provide accommodation to employees not residing within the Klang Valley. Employees who are entitled to the staff house benefits will be provided basic facilities such as furniture, electrical appliances and WiFi connectivity.



What are the official working days?

Employees are required to work 5 and (half) ½ days a week with alternate Saturday off. However, employees will be entitled to working allowance for the two (2) working Saturdays.



What characteristics does Top Glove look for in a candidate?

We look for candidates who are honest, dynamic and self motivated. He or she must be passionate and committed in their work, open minded, team player and creative with ideas for the betterment of the business. At the same time, he or she should possess the eagerness for knowledge and continuous improvement.



What happens after submission of job application?

Once you have submitted your application via email, an e-mail reply confirming receipt will be sent to you. Our respective department will deliberate on your application and will contact you within 1 to 2 weeks for interview upon receiving your application.



What is the typical recruitment process?
In general, the recruitment process may vary according to the position you are applying for. Our recruiters will then analyze your skills & experience based on the information furnished to them and will compare it to the requirements of the position for which you have applied (as well as any other vacant positions). If you match our requirements, we will arrange for interviews with the relevant Head of Factory or Head of Department.
